Yes and they will have you become one of them

Have you dream their dreams

And see as they see

Have you walk their walk

And run their race

They will have you laugh at their jokes

Have you work hard

To become what you’re not

when all you want to be

Is who you truly are

They will have you execute, the plans they make for you

Have you toil, have you sweat and bleed

Till you see things their way

And when you finally become what they want you to be

When you get where they want you

When you are

But an apparatus in their machinery

You will not know who you are

Apart from what they tell you

you will not know what you can become

Apart from what they make you

And you will be happy

For then, they will let you be
